The list of the Augusta Marines of the 19^th Battalion, (accessible) below, was included in an article written by Bill Humphries for the 11/14/1940 edition of the Augusta Chronicle.  These men had reported initially for active duty at the Marine Barracks, Norfolk Navy Yard and then on to other assignments during WWII.  The spelling of some names may be incorrect, but I transposed them as originally written in the newspaper.  The 80^th anniversary of the organization of the 19^th Battalion will be in December of 2016.
